How does student storage work?

We collect your items, store them securely, and deliver them when you're ready.

How much does storage cost?

Prices start from £1.75 per week depending on the number of boxes stored.

Can I use my own suitcases or bags for storage and shipping?

Yes, and we will provide a free heavy duty label holder for each suitcase.

Can I use my own boxes for storage?

You can only use our free heavy duty boxes.

Can I use my own boxes for shipping?

Yes, you can use your own double-walled heavy duty boxes for shipping.

Can I store and ship furniture, bikes and other bulky items?

We cannot store furniture, sorry, but bikes are allowed as long as they're inside heavy duty double-walled bike boxes.

Where do you store my belongings?

At remote warehouses closed to the public.

How do you transport my belongings?

We collect your boxes, store them for as long as you like, and return them to your new address at the end of storage using our network of vehicles and partners.

What about storage and shipping insurance?

We provide up to GBP150 free cover per box in the event of loss in transit.

What can I store and ship with you?

Pretty much anything that fits in a box or suitcase, but not liquids, batteries, flammables, and food.

What is your minimum/maxmimum student storage period?

Minimum storage period is 2 weeks. There is no maximum storage period!

Do you charge extra for returning stored items to another city?

No, unlike our competitors, our return delivery charge covers all cities in the country.

How Storage Works

1. Get a Storage Quote and Book.

Hints and Tips:

Choose collection country, return country, storage dates, and storage items - you can change everything later for free.

Order 1 or 2 more boxes than you need - we don't charge storage for boxes you don't confirm. Unused boxes are £2.88 each and you should recycle or keep them.

Choose from premium collection from your doorstep, or Drop Off and get 5% off.

Provide a return address in or outside your city safe in the knowledge that relocation outside your city is free.

Provide a delivery address and preferred delivery date for any free boxes you order. 99% of free box deliveries are on time.

Up to GBP 150 per box cover for loss in transit is free.

2. Pack and confirm the final number of boxes.

Hints and Tips:

Track delivery of any free boxes you've requested online using your tracking link.

When they arrive, pack your boxes and confirm the final number of boxes/suitcases by 6pm the day before collection.

Collection labels are available for download online the day before collection. If you need them sooner, just let us know.

Print and securely attach your collections labels to your boxes/suitcases.

3. Prepare your stuff for collection.

Hints and Tips:

Remember, read the warnings about different kinds of collection addresses carefully. For example, at university accommodation, we can only collect at your staffed ground floor reception.

Collection time window estimates are available dependent upon area.

4. Relax and enjoy your break!

Hints and Tips:

We automatically collect your remaining weekly/monthly storage payments over your storage period starting after your things arrive into storage.

Change your return address and date as many times as you like for free.

5. Return from Storage

Hints and Tips:

Don't forget to login and explicitly book your return from storage at least a week in advance. This applies even if you already set the return date and address.

If you need to have your storage returned outside your city, that's fine. We don't charge extra for storage relocation outside your city.
